Dulles a go-go!

Hey Brad.

Dulles is a definite go. The meet official said he'd let independents compete on the condition that I register the name of the team under my school's name. Is that cool or what? Would you like to go? And if so, would you be bringing a team with you as well? I know that I'll have a few guys, which means that we should have more than a full team in every category. AWESOME! We should also have a guy who is bringing a computer complete with all sorts of games, movies and stuff, so we should pretty much be set up for fun the entire meet long. Another guy has a really nice frisbee, and I have a football, so yeah, it should be fun.

I can go. I don't know about bringing anyone else though. I'll find out when we get back to school in January. So he's ok with people from diff school being in one team?

Great to hear the Needville is doing UIL B. My UIL coordinator was trying to find that out.

I have email her and the Needville lady. Zack should have gotten the cc from the second email.

I hope everything will work out, and I'm really sorry to hear about Brad's absense.

I have also email the website to my coordinator and my coach, in case they don't know anything about it.

Yeah. Just did. Some good news, some bad. Dulles says everyone must be from the same school in order to field a team. Now, we can enter seperately, but that makes it hard on you because you'll have to go register as well. We could be dishonest and say we're not from the same school, but I'm not so much into that idea. Too much room for error.

Good news though is that Tuloso Midway says that I can enter independently AND without a sponsor. So things are looking good for us there, Sam. Man, I just realized that I am gonna be busy as heck for the next 3 months. >.<

So, are you guys sufficiently studied up for the upcoming Invititational A tournement the weekend after next? I can't wait. I'm just itching to sink my teeth into a UIL Number Sense test. Been taking all sorts of other tests, and I'd like to see something familiar. I'm also looking forward to the science and computer science tests. Calc and math should be fun, but hey, I've gotta list my favs!

I'll talk more soon,

Zack

Great to hear about the T-M meet!

I have told my coordinator about Needville, and I'll probably email the Needville lady again if I remember after school. Have you gotten any thing from Needville?

I know you'll be extremely busy, so we all are. I just want January to be over so far.

It turns out that because a student backed out, I have to do another unit and memorize 3 extra testimonies, ugh. We'll leave for Austin pre-dawn tomorrow.

I'll be online tonight doing final research, buzz if you have something to say.

This is Sam BTW

I'll register for Dulles myself.  We can still hang out if you go.

UIL A is gonna be good. There should be a lot of competition at Klein. NS I'm ready, although I still need to bother my physics teachers about getting one of her (silent) timers. Now that I've practiced for Calc, I don't have an excuse for doing poorly anymore :D. Math/Sci should be easy and CS might be tough since I haven't practiced. I need to be focused for the contest. Right now I have a ton of things to worry about. Got a ton of assignments in the first week back @ school. I need to figure out if I can go to Elkins Jan. 20 (emailed but no response yet) and all the other meets I want to go to. Will my school go to TMSCA State? Does my sponsor even know what TMSCA state is?
