Yeah... I guess you're right. I dont really have anything to complain about.

Man... that sux... 32 points. I would be pissed.

I havent taken the SAT since 7th grade, and I did terribly on my PSAT due to the freakin Writing and Reading sections. I got a 208, so I wont make national merit or anything... but my friend Will B got a 238, so he'll get the merit scholarship, which is awesome. I kinda wish I had taken that prep course that he took, because he and this other girl that took it with him both scored over 230.

How'd you do?

You bet I was pissed about that 32 points. My coach was even more frustrated because she was one of the graders and she didn't get to catch it in time.

There was only 2 people that graded the test. Only the top 10 tests were finalled. The ass who made the mistake was the first grader, then another ass seconded it without blinking. What's interesting was the first ass did not grade any more of our tests but the second ass did and obviously he/she/it did know how to grade because the other test was graded right.

Yesterday we had the banquet. It was in fact a pool party. I told the principal about the additional competitions I intend to take part of, and he did procrastinate. I talked to my coach about it but she said I need research and present the information and the feasibility in front of her, the UIL director, and the principal. Ach! And my coach said even if it is feasible, there's no way of going if it is a Spring Break Saturday. Ach!

I got a 234 in my PSAT. SAT is a lot worse though.

Zack, you'd've got 80 on your PSAT math, didn't you?

You better go! Whats so wrong with Spring Break Saturday? I mean, since we're all nerds here, what else would we be doing that Saturday anyways...?

And on the PSAT math, I messed that up too... Got a 72, which sux because on all the practice tests, I didnt miss a single problem!!! And the three I did miss were all really dumb mistakes. 2 misreadings of the problem and 1 where I marked the right answer on my test booklet, but apparently marked the wrong answer on the answer sheet. AHHHHHHHH!!!!

I know I better go, but you don't know what it's like to be a teacher... I don't either, but even though she admits being a nerd, she's really touchy about other people changing her life and always makes a big fuss about it. Annually we have the Fiesta Texas trip for math and physics students that she wants and needs to go. She decides the date of the trip, and because it's always been the first Friday of May(the State Friday of course), for the past two years I couldn't go and have fun and she, the math coach, wouldn't come with me to State, either. And this year she postponed it for a week, and you should hear how she whined about the havoc I wreaked on her orderly life. UIL and our school's next year's calendars haven't come out yet, though. I guess the real persuasion starts then.

72 on PSAT? That sucks, you couldn't possibly be nervous, did you take the SAT on the previous Saturday?

I have done all my AP tests, yee-haw! I felt pretty good about APUSH though, I'm hoping for a 4. One of our guys had to take English yesterday too. 6 essays. Bless his brain.

Man... These award ceremonies are taking their toll on me. I feel like I dont really deserve any of the awards I'm recieving anymore, since most of them dont mean anything anyways, but I must say that I'm starting to getting used to the free food.

Anyway... on the PSAT, a 72 only meant that I only missed 3 or 4, I think... Thats not so bad, is it? I mean, I know the math is easy, but its easy to misinterpret or misbubble. I just wish I wasnt so bad on writing and grammar... I got 68s on both of those. I felt incredibly mediocre when I first saw those scores, especially when I had two friends that scored in the 230s that went and retrieved their scores with me. Eh... I'm not a good test taker. I never have been. Ima just hoping I can break into the 220s on the June 5th test. I need a score that doesnt suck so much.

We've only got 4 days left for the school year, but I have 3 projects due monday. What the heck? Shouldnt things be winding down? I guess not.

3 projects? Good luck to you. I have a Calculus project on cross-sections that I need to finish asap and there'll be a 4-chatper history test on Tuesday. We still have 8 days left with a bunch of exempt tests and several assemblies.

Do you mean you want to break 2200s on June 5th? Because you have only one chance to take PSAT, don't you? Then how many SATs and SATIIs have you taken? I'm taking History, Math2, and Chem that day.

Aww crud... I forgot about the SAT IIs. um... I guess I'll have to take them come October, which means that early registration for colleges wont happen, and... crud. Man... I'm horribly unorganized.

Anyway, no, I havent taken any SAT IIs, and I havent taken the SAT I yet other than the time back in 7th grade when I got a 1290. And yeah... I did mean 2200s. I dunno why I put 220, or for that matter why the SAT and the PSAT dont have the same scoring system. Why not just make the SAT scores run on the 240 scale? I mean, since there is no way to get any scores that arnt evenly divided by ten on the SAT, they might as well eliminate the extraneous 0. They could probably save a dollar in ink if they switched.

Good luck to you on getting through the last week of school. As soon as it lets out, I'll be sure to bombard you with NS questions and other things on this forum... I entered a post a few hours ago in that regard, soo... LOOK OUT!!
