How can I do this problem quickly?

Find the remainder:

The answer is 3

Using modular arithmetic, you can find the remainder of the entire problem by first finding the remainder of its parts.

2^6= 64. 64/7 = 7 r 1

3^5= 243. 243/7 = 34 r 5

5^4 = 625. 625/7 = 89 r 2.

Then it becomes:

(1 x 5 - 2) = 3.

Hope this helps.
