If you were playing a game of cards. And had to divide 9/47 and 13/47 instantly, whats the best way to go about doing it mentally in your head??

dividing by 47 is close to dividing by 50, with an adjustment needed for every 6 cards.
9/50 is (9*2)/100 or .18, and 9/47 is (9*2 + 1)/100 or 0.19.
13/50 is (13*2)/100 or .26, and 13/47 is (13*2+2)/100, or .28
This assumes you need to know to the nearest percentage point (rounded)
