Feet/Second to MPH

This was on a test I just took:

6.6 feet per second = how many miles per hour?

How would you do it?

5280 ft=1 mile
and
3600 sec=1 hour

So you would divide by (5280/3600). As it turns out, that simplifies to (22/15), which now seems a good number to memorize. Dividing by it is the same as multiplying by (15/22), so get rid of the 22 first to get 0.3. Multiply by 15 and you have 4.5.

A good one to remember, if you don't already know, is 60mph=88ft/sec.

I would think it simpler to say 15 mph=22 fps, but yeah. I guess I omitted that in the first post. Oops.
