204? DAMN!

I made 129 (disgraceful) and got 2nd in numbersense... 4 points behind the 1st place.  I thought that district test was exceedingly hard.

What about you?

Anyway, I made it to regionals also.  When and where is your regionals?

first of all, CONGRATS VINAY!!! great job! anyways, speaking of that district B test, i didn't think it was hard, maybe it was because i spent lots of time analyzing all the invitational tests, there were not many suprises. I was on fire on the 1st page, and i couldn't believe that i did better on the 1st page than all the A&M consolidated people(i was the first one to flip the pg and the most accurate). But once i got to the 2nd pg, the 3rd column, my nervous wreck ate me alive. i wish someone could hear my heartbeat back then, cuz it felt like my heart was in my throat. My coach later told me that and 1st and 2nd place ppl caught up w/me in the 3rd column.  Well, with all that said, i am glad, glad that yesterday was not the end of my summer, but merely the beginning of it. Now, i have to prepare for regionals, which is harder, cuz i will have to face both Klein and A&M consoldiated. i don't know how far i will go, but i know that no matter what the outcome is, this will be a meaningful and unforgettable summer. My regionals will be at Baylor University in Waco. Here i want to thank mr.jones and all members in this forum for all the encouragements and supports, you all made me believe that there are people out there just like me.

Congrats Quincy!

I'm very excited for you.  Not only have you greatly improved your number sense score over the past year, but you have also helped out many that are new to UIL.  I have faith that you will be satisfied with your performance at regional.  Have fun in Waco!

Thank you Sam

are you the Sam from Nacadoches? if you are, congrats to you and your team. I saw your score for district and it pulled the trigger on my competitive nature, that 337 was an awesome score. Again, looking forward to see you at UT Austin for State.

good luck,
