The website isn't working anymore, so I was wondering if anybody could help me with base manipulation. Sometimes there are questions that are decimal bases like: .44 base 8 * .17 base 7. How would I do that type of problem. I remeber it was on the webpage but I forgot about it and now its not working. I have a meet on Saturday so I would prefer an answer quickly.

In base 10, decimals work as follows: .ab = a/10 + b/10^2 For example .25 = 2/10+5/100 So for different bases, say base 8, .44 = 4/8+4/64 = 9/16

Edit: I realize this was probably too late for your competition. Hope it was helpful anyways
