question:  Can anyone help me figure converting numbers in a parts per million figure to a decimal figure?  ex: 3 ppm would equal .0003?  Sorry, I'm not the math whiz I used to be...

i don't really understand what you are asking...but if you want to express 3 in a million as a decimal, then it would be 0.000003, because 1 million = 10^6
