I don't know about any invitationals; I think our district meet is April second. How should I find out if there are any invitationals coming up?

there are lots of invitationals...mostly TMSCA tests, but some have UIL A, B, C, materials, you can find them at texasmath.org (click on the Calendar tab). Our budget is limited....so...we can only go to a few of them.
