the answer is 1, because 2-(1/2+1/4+1/8+1/16+...)=2-1=1
In fact, 1/n+1/n^2+1/n^3+...=1/(n-1), and a/b+ar/b+ar^2/b+ar^3/b+...= a/[b(1-r)]
